Welcome back everybody, it's me Night Raven, A lot of people are suggesting ways to bypass the setup screen because maybe you forgot your password or something but most of the videos out there are fake! Well, that happened to me on my iPad 5th Generation and it's really annoying but this ultimate guide will show you how to legitimately remove the Activation Lock. The rule here is you can always attempt to X restore the device. Let's start off with this scenario. You got a device from the internet and it's locked by a previous owner. You can contact the owner and tell them to remove the lock from finding my phone via iCloud if they want to be a **** then just return the device. If however, you forgot the apple id or password, You can visit this website: https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid?returnURL=https://appleid.apple.com&app_id=93&language=US-EN the link will be in the video description. All you need to do is just type in the email you think it is, then it will check if it's an actual email in their system. You then once you logged in you can reset the password. If that doesn't work, You will need to verify the proof of purchase by visiting the following site https://www.apple.com/au/support/service/help/warrantycheck/geo_proofofpurchase.html this will be linked in the description of the video. This tells apple that your device is not stolen or anything. You need to fill the form out and send it to apple. once you did that Apple should fix the rest. In the event that none of this helpful, we will assume that you stole the device from somewhere and tried to factory restore it. If that is the case, return the device to its respected owner.
