Human vs. Machine: The Unpredictability of Car Crashes and Autonomous Driving
Elevenlabs AudioNative Player
People crash cars all the time, this is mostly due to first time drivers and exponentially decreases as we age, grouping all car crashes together and saying there’s too many crashes in the United States is just a logical fallacy. Sure, we can decrease this number, but until we reach autonomous driving, we can’t expect car crashes to decrease yet. This is because humans are humans and robots are robots.
Two conditions: Machine learning is unpredictable, Humans are unpredictable
Real code is linear, and only works if everyone adapts to using self driving. But you’re still not accounting for the environment in that case.
